Brief: Taking the lyrics from a song, manipulate the typography into an A3 poster of the artist/singer who performs the song. 

 

Solution: Having chosen Chrissy Costanza, the singer from Against The Current, I decided on the song "In Our Bones" from the album with the same name, my first task was to find a photo of her to use. Having found an image, the first thing to do was decide how to section up the image and the colour scheme. I decided to use the colour scheme from the album cover. Using the envelope distort function in Adobe Illustrator, I manipulated the text into the shape of Chrissy. After finalising the image and the colours, the image didn’t look right so I made the background lighter and used the titling from the album cover.
