Brief: Create the front page of new magazine Gamit complete with unique masthead, character illustration created in part 1 with appropriate background, consistent visual identity and barcode.

Solution: Designing the background art was a simple process of creating a basic sketch of the background and then rendering it. 
The masthead on the other hand required research into existing mastheads and gaming magazines. From my research I was able to determine that the masthead needed to include a relatively simple wordmark, and gamers are highly receptive to the basic RGB colour scheme. After preparing all the assets, I compiled them in InDesign according to layout sketches.
